Ivy Kids Kit of the Month
Subscribe by 11/30 to start with the November kit featuring the book
Windows by Julia Denos
This month's kit is inspired by the book Windows by Julia Denos, a beautifully illustrated story that encourages children to observe the neighborhood and community through glowing windows and imagine the stories unfolding inside. Packed with over 12 hands‑on activities, this kit encourages children to investigate science, math, literacy, art, and engineering through fun, play‑based learning.
Some of the exciting activities children will explore this month include:
- Creating colorful stained-glass window art using tissue paper
- Constructing a wooden house lantern that lights up
- Designing a wooden window frame with a special photo or artwork
- Drawing scenes with chalk markers on windows
- Building and decorating a miniature window using craft sticks
- Going on a neighborhood observation walk
- Creating a "View From My Window" storytelling project
- Playing fun literacy and math games inspired by the story
- PLUS SO MUCH MORE
Everything children need to read, play, create, and learn is included! This kit is packed with endless fun!
